This directly resulted in meetings to discuss funding of $US1.5 mill with USAid- Member of the UN Lao PDR Communications Group, Pandemic Communications Working Group, the Joint Sustainable Livelihoods core group, HIV Focal Point- Undertook a collateral and brand audit for UNFAO Lao PDR in consultation with the Representative, staff, INGOs, Lao Government Departments, other UN agencies and members of the general public to assess perception and information gaps in key stakeholder groups- Developed a cohesive suite of bi-lingual communications materials (press releases, speeches, reports, brochures, web copy, briefing notes, internationally published articles, documentaries, exhibition materials, education kits etc) from inception to dissemination,- Managed and co-ordinated events and exhibitions in conjunction with Government Departments and other UN agencies. These included Agriculture and Forestry Fair 2008, Lao Women’s Union Lao and International Food Fair 2009, MOU signing and World AIDs Day- Organised professional development workshops for staff in a cross cultural environment- This resulted in the successful repositioning of FAO Lao PDR which was applauded by Rome HQ and key stakeholders,- Attended training on Human Rights Based Approached to development and UN Induction
