Sienna Weinstein, Ms Email and Phone Number
I have a lifelong fascination and love for all things zoological, especially animal behavior, and have pursued this interest unceasingly. My love for zoology began at an early age, as I grew up on a "diet" of nature and wildlife documentaries from Animal Planet, National Geographic, The Discovery Channel, and more. While earning my Master's degree, an activity was performed within my department in which our thesis advisors handed us a document listing a local animal we invoked, and three characteristics describing us based on observations and interactions. My advisor handed me a document which described me as a "striving, thorough and undaunted squirrel."I would love to work in the field in "hands-on" capacity, in advocacy and/or in research, particularly within the field of wildlife conservation. The aspects of wildlife conservation I am most passionate about are the protection of biodiversity and endangered/threatened species, education and public awareness, and human-wildlife conflict. Additionally, I have developed an interest and skills in wildlife photography, and have had some of my work published. I also have skills in scientific, creative, and technical writing, and would be open to the realm of conservation journalism.Over the course of my studies, I have gained experience in performing and analyzing field research. Among the skills I have developed are Microsoft Office and the programming language R. I also participated in a study abroad program in southern Africa, taking part in field work involving species abundance and diversity. If you have a strong desire to promote the survival of the world's biodiversity, as well as vulnerable and endangered species, please feel free to connect with me here on LinkedIn!
