At first, I worked for the PPI department at M&S Bank as a Complaints Handler. My main task was to examine the cases of customers who claimed that they were sold PPI incorrectly. To do this, I used various computer systems to investigate their bank accounts, called them to gather more information, and replied to them and claims management companies in writing.After four months, I moved to a job in Operational Services, still in the PPI department. My work involved sorting and preparing newly received PPI complaints, which were then added to the computer systems. I also wrote letters to acknowledge new complaints, looked for account application forms to help with investigations, and sent new cases to different departments within the organisation.

In my second year of university, I undertook a five-week work placement at Ness Botanic Gardens in Neston. It was my responsibility to manage the gardens’ social media accounts and use them to promote the organisation. This involved updating statuses, taking photographs and editing them and uploading them on the pages. I was also tasked with answering the phones, assisting customers and collecting visitor feedback.
