The Technology Management doctoral program is designed to produce exceptional scholars with a deep knowledge of technology’s effects on organizations and work, technological change, technology entrepreneurship, and technology-enabled innovation who will go on to conduct research and teach at top universities across the country and around the world.

Villa aims to address the housing shortage in California by building and providing high-quality prefab accessory dwelling units (ADUs) across the state.In my role, I educated clients on California’s policies regarding ADUs and advised on the design of ADUs. Additionally, I spearheaded projects on product knowledge communication and conducted A/B experiments to optimize the customer experience through automated technologies.

A as a part of the Customer Success Organization, I worked with 150+ high growth accounts in a variety of industries from technology, to education, to construction, and beyond. I partnered with my clients to understand their talent acquisition goals, business and hiring objectives, and recruiting challenges. My partnership included account management, utilization analysis, product onboarding, strategic reviews, and consulting. Internally, I worked cross functionally with sales, customer operations, product, and many other teams to ensure my clients were successful.

The Embrace employee resource group (ERG) focuses on embracing multiple cultures, ethnicities, and nationalities to promote inclusion and belonging at LinkedIn. As a newly launched ERG, I served as one of the first office co-leads in our San Francisco office. I planned and led community-building events, including educational workshops, volunteer activities, and speaker engagements. I also served as a global communications officer designing and building Embrace's microsite.

LinkedIn's Business Leadership Program – Global Sales is a rigorous rotational program designed to identify, inspire and develop future professionals and business leaders. During my tenure, I completed rotations in Global Customer Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Customer Success – all while building lasting relationships at LinkedIn.Throughout my BLP experience, my cohort and I built a foundational career skill set through leadership-based learning and exposure to different business lines and internal teams.

SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecrafts.I worked in industrial engineering to drive efficiency for SpaceX's rocket production. Throughout this internship, I developed an understanding of the company's workforce and how to influence human factors to improve production capabilities. This included bridging quantitative insights of workforce data with qualitative observations and interviews. Some highlights from this internship include: • Designing a centralized system in Confluence for production teams to access dashboards and resources in a user-friendly experience• Gathering and organizing data in Tableau dashboards to determine technician work hours and using these findings to pilot 12 production teams to apply labor and shift modifications• Investigating how production managers tracked their technicians' work hours and synthesizing findings to recommend a standardized and automated system for schedule tracking Special thank you to my mentor @Duy Ngyuen for teaching me so much over the course of this summer.

Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR) is an S&P 500 company focused on the acquisition, development and management of rental apartment properties in urban and high-density suburban coastal gateway markets where today’s affluent renters want to live, work and play.I interned at Equity for a semester-long practicum in Learning and Organizational Change. During my internship, I sat with the Human Resources department and gained exposure to employee communications, CSR initiatives, employee engagement analytics, and instructional design. Some highlights from this internship include: • Analyzing internal surveys and conducting research on competitors to propose a new social service program for over 1000 employees• Assembling and cleaning data of performance reviews and property awards to determine the learning curve and skill-sets for recently hired service technicians • Conducting interviews and observations to re-design a manager learning program for my capstone practicum projectSpecial thanks to my manager @Carolynn Haug for her guidance and support throughout this role.
