Although our society has made strides in the promotion of mental health, I believe more work needs to be done by us as clinicians. Mental health needs should be viewed the same as physical needs. When one is neglected, the other suffers. I plan on continuing to advocate for the mental health needs of everyone I work with, no matter the circumstance. I am currently a graduate student at The College of Saint Rose with plans of graduating in August 2022. After graduation, I will be working towards complete licensure, beginning with my MHC-LP. Being that the requirement is 3,000 hours for complete licensure, I would love to work with an organization who has similar values to my own. I am confident that my experience and education has allowed me to grow as a professional in many ways. I have worked with many populations, including youth, children with developmental disabilities, teens, adults, substance abuse & older adults. With previous social work and counseling experience, I strive to continue being the voice for those who need it.
