I enjoy serving others in any role I am in. This job has allowed me to travel across the US region for different events, including ones I helped organize. Our work endured many changes while I was there and I can say my own resilience has increased and I have learned to communicate well.In the short time I had been at Flagstar Bank I had the opportunity to help many and change people's lives. I witnessed and continued to learn the importance of excellent customer service, safe work environments, and loving your job. I discovered a deep joy in helping others with their finances, including myself! I absolutely loved serving the Jackson area through the services of Flagstar. I often think back on my experiences in banking. When I decided to move states, it was incredibly difficult for me to leave my work at Flagstar.One of my favorite positions thus far has been as a Camp Coordinator. I discovered my strengths, skills and passion for leading and developing others into strong leaders. After never having worked in a camp before I took my role as a coordinator and turned it into one I believe looked unlike the other coordinators. I was able to provide the counselors encouragement and strength to continue doing their absolute best and offer them help without doing the job for them.My other favorite position was at the library as a Teen/Young Adult Program Coordinator. There I was been placed into positions that pulled me out of my comfort zone and utilized my abilities as a leader and a collaborator. My mind was challenged to think critically and dive into my imagination knowing that the possibilities are endless as long as I'm willing to try. I am more an ideas person than an executive person. I love helping to build others to see their own potential. My most favorite aspect was becoming a part of the lives of the teens that come to the library and serving the patrons every day!
