My role at Lantern ridge took on many variations, since the store just opened when I was hired. I fulfilled many roles to do everything I could to help the managers and owners. I did food preparation and dish washing in the kitchen. I took orders and ran food. I checked customers out and stocked products in the market. I also helped in the garden center. I became very skilled at identifying what needs to be done, and honed my problem solving skills to complete the task.

As an employee of the Paako Ridge restaurant I gained experience in the food service industry as well as critical life skills. I learned responsibility, hard work, and initiative after taking on tasks beyond my job description. I earned a raise for my dedication to the job. Trained new employees.

Vista Grande Community Center offers a summer program for young children during the day. I gained job experience. I supervised kids in the summer program and organized activities for them. I also volunteered with the after school program during Fall 2018.
