I am an engineering leader with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a Biochemistry specialization from the University of Florida. I have additional experience as research technician with the UF Diabetes Institute research lab, assisting with individual projects, benchwork, data collection and analysis, and coaching volunteer students; I'm skilled in handling and quantifying samples to generate a database and assays. I currently lead a team of over sixty members across three shifts to run the day-to-day operations of a 24/7 production process. I drive KPI target attainment through process knowledge and ownership at the shop floor level, and facilitate the implementation of new projects, policies, and procedures.My time management and communication skills, along with a strong science background, make me an asset to engineering, production, and research teams. I'm interested in pursuing work in engineering, project management, research and development, and quality control and assurance with teams that foster collaboration and the advancement of science.
