Engaging and reliable self starter with 7+ years of experience in performing live, organizing and coordinating events. Recently graduated from UCLA, receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in History with a minor in Music Industry. My passion for music began at a young age, and I was driven to teach myself multiple instruments. Within a year of learning to play each of those instruments, I was able to play them live, doing multiple solo performances for an annual show at my high school called Live and Unplugged. With my first performance at Live and Unplugged, I wanted to be more involved in the event, so I became an event organizer for the show, helping for the next four years with putting on the show, eventually taking the lead on coordinating the event. This growing passion for music, not only as a performer but also behind the scenes has pushed me to expand my knowledge to understanding more about the business side of music. This was a key reason for me to apply to and attend UCLA, where I took several Music Industry courses to learn more about the variety of jobs in the industry, including artist management, venue management, A&R, production, radio, distribution, publishing, marketing, social media, and more. I have been able to use the skills from event planning with Live and Unplugged and applied it to my role as President of Music Club at UCLA, where we held multiple live shows a year and had weekly meetings with musicians of varying different skill sets and genres join to learn instruments and play music with others with similar interests.
