Worked to ensure that an average of 17 horses were fed, cleaned, exercised properly, and had clean water. Worked flexible shifts some early morning others during the day or at night. Worked in all types of weather. Worked well with other staff members by picking up and covering shifts when needed including weekends and holidays. Lift and move heavy bags of feed as well as water troughs to ensure all animals had clean water and food. Cleaned out stalls so every horse had somewhere clean to come into. Offered help to clients with preparing for lessons, filling out any paperwork, scheduling and canceling appointments, as well as taking payments.

Worked with approximately 10 children ages 6-12 to ensure safety around horses. Taught about safe for children and animals. Educated them on proper horse care as well as helped teach them how to ride. Created fun activities throughout the day. Kept track and acknowledged any allergies or dietary restrictions while in my care. Communicated with parents about any questions or concerns they may have had. Scheduled future riding lessons and enrolled children for future camp sessions. Took payment and went through all necessary paperwork with parents. Was responsible for children from 9-3 five days a week.

Had conversations with clients about symptoms of their pets. Scheduled appointments and surgeries. Explained surgeries. Assisted with preparation of animals for surgery. Made sure all in clinic animals were fed, walked, and taken care of. Filled medicine prescriptions and explained medication usage to clients. Ran lab work as well as explaining results and possible treatment plans if needed. Filled charts with vaccinations, exam conclusions, questions and concerns.
