I am currently a masters student in chemistry at the University of North Dakota where my research is focused on analyzing the benefits of low temperatures when performing photoreactions. I have previously completed two summers of research during my undergraduate schooling where I became familiar with both physics and chemistry research as well. I did this through two different programs including Research for Undergraduates, REU, and South Dakota Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network, SD BRIN, in the summers of 2020 and 2021 respectively. Through my masters research thus far and both of these programs I gained extensive experience and knowledge about the research community as well as various synthesizing and analytical techniques. Furthermore, I was asked to speak in biweekly in meetings for the REU research I was a part of, and perform a presentation on the research I was assisting for SD BRIN in a convocation.
