I'm in my 25th year of school-based college counseling (18 years) & college admissions (7 years). I've visited 300+ colleges (more than just about any college counselor in the country), most of them multiple times, the majority of them every 4-5 years. I served on the board & as committee chair of our professional association for college counseling and admissions; I'm a longtime conference volunteer and presenter (including about assisting transgender students in the college app & admissions process). I'm skilled at rec letter writing, essay/application/list assistance, interview & resumé help, financial aid & scholarships, public speaking, event planning. I love being part of a collaborative team, setting the highest standards for college counseling, and aligned with national standards. Networking is one of my favorite aspects of my career: college admissions reps, other college counselors, parents, alums. Master of Arts in Liberal Studies focused in Gender Studies from Skidmore College; BA in English from Bucknell U., and the subsequent equivalent coursework for a Geography degree.
