After spending my grade school years in advanced English classes and an elective journalism class, I decided that I wanted to devote the rest of my life to the written word. I started off wanting to be the next Andi Anderson (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days) and, after being presented an opportunity through a non-profit print news magazine (Voices of Central PA) I surprised myself by gravitating toward developing education themed editorials and covering controversial topics. Shortly after joining the Voices team, I was given the opportunity to become an editor for the Education section, which lead to my ongoing passion for editing content. Leading other writers and helping them really put forth their best work is such a rewarding experience and allows me to continue to further develop my own writing and adapting skills.
