As a Public Policy Intern at Children's Council of San Francisco, I have gained invaluable experience in the advocacy sector of the child care community. Throughout my time here, I have developed skills in digital content creation, press releases, policy advocacy, community organizing and communications with elected officials. I am also a member of the San Francisco ECE Advocacy Coalition assisting in facilitating meetings, organizing campaigns, and working with other child care advocates which allows me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the complex issues facing the child care community. These experiences have not only improved my understanding of advocacy and community organizing but also further fueled my passion for the diverse landscape of the child care community of San Francisco.

As a Front Desk Sales Associate at Orangetheory Fitness, I welcomed members, maintained floor appearance, and assigned stations at the start of class. Additionally, I contacted over 40 leads per shift, instructed introductory members, and handled external communications for the studio. I was recognized as the employee of the month in July 2022, and I also worked at various studio locations, which allowed me to further hone my communication, sales organizational skills.

Through my efforts, I increased the organic follower count by 32%, by creating personalized content, utilizing promotional ads, and conducting influencer outreach. I also developed an effective new marketing strategy using HubSpot, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office, which allowed me to further enhance my skills in digital content creation, social media management, and strategic communication.
