I received my B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Sciences then my M.S. in Molecular Pathology from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and am currently ASCP certified as an MLS and MB. I have had experience being the patient and provider for patients seeking molecular diagnostics, and having a personal connection to the field of molecular genetics and diagnostics has driven me to complete my higher education, while also trying to discover any opportunity to help patients and providers better understand the science of molecular genetics and diagnostics.
