SHE Training – provided to all employees with regard to identification and management of hazards in the work place.(Induction, workshops, Standard Operating procedures, and etc.)Accident investigations –Investigation of all accidents to determine the root causes of an incident.Incident Reports – Ensure that internal and external reporting is done within the defined timelines.Analyze incident/accident statistics in graphic format- To establish trends within the business unit and advice with regards topreventative, control and corrective measures in so far as technical SHE matters are concernedOccupational Hygiene – this involves the identification and monitoring of physical stress factors in the work place. Responsible for the actual measurement of heat levels, noise levels, audiometricscreening, lux levels and ventilation flow criteria. Sourcing of a service provider for scheduled monitoring and advising on themitigation measures to be deployed by the business.Design Specifications and legal requirements – Provide management and project teams with specifications in terms of legal requirements from a Safety, Health and Environment perspectiveServe on SHE Committees – Co-opted member for business SHE Meeting in order to provide SHE information and advice.Manage the SHE Integrated System (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SANS 3001 and NOSA) – Provide the Operational Reporting – Collate and prepare allocated businesses, weekly and monthly reports.
