About Signe Christensen, Ph.D., Bsn, Rn

I am very happy to have accepted an RN position at Rhode Island Hospital! Being a medsurg RN means I get to provide culturally competent care to patients with a wide variety of conditions. Thanks to my multilingual background and diverse education, I can adapt to my patients' specific needs and make them feel confident and empowered at every step of their care. I am always eager to learn new evidence-based nursing practices and I am currently becoming certified in pain management and assessment, with emphasis on non-opioid options. With the added pressure on healthcare workers during this pandemic, I am especially motivated to help as many fellow humans as possible remain as healthy and resilient as possible.
