While developing the brand and the business locally (in my first 18 months our club members increased by 81%) I kept overviewing the bigger picture which after a year resulted in a new role in Antwerp as ‘Member Experience Manager’ where I was responsible for member attrition and overall experience by leading our different service teams to excellence. This was my preparation before taking over - in January 2019 - the general management of the club with a dedicated management and operational team to give our 4.000 members the best experience possible. Our hard work and efforts were valued which resulted in the recognition by winning the award for ‘Club of the Year 2019’ after my first year as General Manager of David Lloyd Antwerp. David Lloyd is the second home for its members and it is not only a great pleasure to be able to offer health, happiness and a home to the various communities of Antwerp, it is also satisfying to see the impact on our members’ improved overall lifestyle. For K-onsult I've been training future lifecoaches to gain expertise as a lifecoach who helps others to grow and gain more self confidence. During an interactive bi-weekly training I shared theoretical and practical knowledge, observed and handed coaching tools in combination with interactive practice. The training was a mix of handing over coaching skills as well as an immersion in a personal development programm in order to gain more relevant insights personally and as future coaches.
