I was a PhD student with Sune Lehmann’s research group at the Department of AppliedMathematics and Computer Science at DTU which focuses on understanding and modelling complex human behavior with massive amounts of data. I have published two papers in prestige journals and currently working on the third publication. In my research I both use traditional models fromchronobiology and sleep research as well as methodology from the field of complex behavioral science to analyse a global dataset of longitudinal smart phone and wearable data. I have partaken teaching of Data Analysis and Network Science courses at DTU and updated the curriculum for one of those, as wellhaving co-supervised MSc students. I was visiting researcher at Aalto University in Helsinki with Jari Saramaki’s group for the first months of 2020. During large part of the PhD I was Data Science Intern at leading personal use electrical equipment manufacturer where I processed large-scale (+20TB) mobility, application usage and sleep data in a distributed environment.

I worked on an innovative project where we developed new methods to evaluate the performance of corporate customers with public data. I focused on the data collection and analytical component of the project, and played a role of a full stack developer. I started out as a student assistant but worked full time for six months after graduation (July 2017).

Iceland

We were a small team who operated the mobile websites for Ticketmaster, one of the largest mobile E-commerce site in the world at that time. Meanwhile, we developed our own product, Promogogo, which is a management tool for the entertainment business. I optimized the Promogogo operation and was the gatekeeper the most important resource, time. I took the team’s vision, and broke it down to manageable task to complete, and also led daily and weekly meetings, communicated with our clients and possessed the overview of the entire operation.

Iceland

I tutored math to students at Reykjavik Junior Collage. These were students having problem understanding the syllabus, and needed tentative attention and encouragement.

I conducted a research for Katla Geopark that aimed to find ways to maximise sales of local food within the Geopark and optimise its transportation.
