I believe that as a teacher it is our duty to ensure that learning takes place in a safe, open and supportive environment, so students can learn important aspects in developing and fostering positive relationships with others. My teaching style can be described as a combination of various teaching methodologies and techniques. I am a supporter of the direct and constructive learning model because I understand that the role of the curriculum with various learning activities is very important for the learning process.Besides having a Master in Education, I am a non-permanent Economics teacher who has more than 10 years experience as a high school teacher, I have experience in teaching in accelerated classes, teaching information technology applications also have experience in preparing students for national economic exams, economic Olympics and growing their leadership and problem solving by making them collaborate in groups.Teaching is a noble and highly rewarding profession in which on is able to directly affect change in the lives of others, and I cannot think of a better way to contribute to the betterment of society. During my journey towards the realization of my dream to become a teacher, there were many people from students, coworkers, lecturers who helped me set my career goals and objectives including family members.I am a strong advocate of hands-on and mind-on learning because I understand that supplementing curriculum with a variety of activities is essential to the learning process. By enthusiastically engaging students is fascinating lessons and using strategies that address each child’s learning style. I believe that students will achieve academic success and build the self confidence to continue taking risks during the learning process. Learning occurs when a student is fully engaged in the process, makes a personal connection with the information taught and applies the knowledge to a variety of experiences. When this occurs the students is inspired to become engaged over and over again, make connections and apply his or her knowledge. Through the development of relationship that is honest, open and respectful. Students will know that I understand them and accept them as they are. To conclude, my goal as a lecturer is to instill a passion for learning with my students while providing them with a positive and encouraging educational environment. I hope to provide the skills and tools needed to succeed and grow the individual talents of each student.
