1. Provide overall direction and guidance in smooth and effective running of chemical plants especially Water and Steam Cycle Chemistry, Close Cooling Water, Generator Stator Cooling and BFPT mechanical Seal Injection.2. Supervise work of condensate polisher operator and chemical plant operations to achieve quality of work. Coordinate with Shift Charge Engineer/Supervisor during unit start-up ,shutdown and normal running of the plant and maintain the chemistry under his control in round the clock shift3. Carry out trouble shooting in chemical plants and to follow day-to-day maintenance as per defect reports Follow-up the annual maintenance of chemical plants4. Maintain chemical consumption records5. Monitor all chemical parameters and enter periodic readings on log sheets. Summarize all activities/events that took place during his shift in the log book
