MITISKA REIM is a specialist real estate investment and fund management firm headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.MITISA REIM invests exclusively in the niche of retail park properties in Europe.MITISKA REIM manages the specialist real estate fund “First Retail International” (FRI 1) which has an investment capacity of 200 million EUR. The fund raising of the follow-up fund FRI 2 with an equity size of 223 million EUR and an investment capacity of 450 million EUR was closed in December 2016. FRI1 is fully invested, FRI2 closed several transactions in Q4 2016 and H1 2017, and has a promising pipeline of investments.My role includes the overall responsibility for finance and tax matters within Mitiska REIM, First Retail International NV, First Retail International 2 NV and their subsidiaries. Member of transaction team, coordinating bank financing, structuring and periodic reporting on project up to fund level, both internally and to investors.

Mitiska NV is an investment company with a focus on retail. Mitiska NV was listed on Euronext for 10 years (1999 - 2009), and had (majority) stakes in retailers such as Carpetland, Brantano, AS Adventure, Fun Belgium, Fatboy, Cassis Paprika etc.After its delisting, Mitiska nv became a privately held investment company with a wider focus. I started at Mitiska 6 months before the IPO, and worked on all aspects relating to finance, tax and compliance. Member of the transaction team and assisting management teams of the subsidiaries in matters as bank financing, structuring and reporting. I worked on the SPO of Mitiska NV, its delisting in 2009, and the further structuring in view of the amended focus.In 2012 Mitiska NV and Mitiska REIM NV founded First Retail International NV (FRI1).
