Sigrid managed the design, development and deployment of the world-first, multi-modal Intelligent Congestion Management Program (ICMP) for Transport for NSW. ICMP provides the Operators of the Transport Management Centre with the ability to track alerts, manage events incl. Road Occupancy Licenses and Major Events, coordinate Field Crews, manage roadside devices, communicate with privately operated Motorways, track and manage lane closures and inform the public, to name a few of the available features. The objective of ICMP is to provide awareness of the NSW network, supporting the Operators' ability to predict congestion and to take action to reduce the impact to the public - irrespective of the mode of transportation. The program comprised teams in the US, AU, UK, India and Germany and Sigrid managed a team of approx. 80 staff.

Dallas, Texas

Sigrid was based in Dallas, Texas and managed the introduction of the Comprehensive Fare Payment System CFPS and the associated GoPass Smartcard for Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), who provide train and bus services for the wider Dallas area. Sigrid was responsible for the delivery of the internal and external pilot, the soft launch and the full-customer go-live in November 2018. The project marked the first customer go-live of Pulse, Vix Technology's account-based fare payment system.

Perth, Australia

Sigrid was responsible for delivering the ICT projects of Western Power's Business Transformation Program, which was set up to align Western Power with industry-best practice. The BTP ICT portfolio comprised over 50 projects with a budget of approximately $60M. The Program was delivered with external Service Delivery Partners (on-shore and off-shore) and an internal and external ICT team of over 300 staff. All of the BTP projects were delivered using the SCRUM Agile methodology.

To improve customer service, reduce congestion, and to provide for future growth Transport for NSW is in the process of undertaking major infrastructure and fare projects. Transport for NSW will deliver the biggest transformation of Sydney’s CBD, traffic and transport arrangements in decades.As Planning Manager, Sigrid was responsible for the Ticketing and Concession Analysis & Planning Phase of various critical projects including Sydney Metro (Stage 1), CBD and South East Light Rail Extension, and the Fare Review, with the objective to determine the project costing, resource requirements, key risks and issues and to set-up and agree the detailed project schedule and Governance with the stakeholders.

Transport for NSW has been responsible for implementing the Opal smartcard for travel across the greater Sydney region through the electronic ticketing system (ETS). TfNSW has been working with the Pearl Consortium to deliver the new $1.2billion Opal smartcard ticketing program which began rolling out in late 2012.As Release Manager Sigrid reported directly to the Principle Manager, ETS Solution and was responsible for the management of the program release schedule, release scope definition and associated stakeholder management across the ETS program.

Sigrid was responsible for the consolidation and quality assurance of the client’s business cases to be submitted to the Department of Treasury and Finance and subsequently the Minister for Energy. The objective of the project was to gain funding approval for all work undertaken in the financial years 2009/10 through to 2011/12. The projects comprised over 60 client staff from three business branches and various external agencies. Sigrid reported directly to the client’s General Manager. In 2011 Sigrid was invited back to support the Network Performance Branch with the submission of the AA3 business cases. In 2012 Sigrid consolidated the information requirements of the Section Conductors.Prior to this, Sigrid managed a number of large-scale projects for Western Power, Horizon Power, Verve Energy and Synergy Energy as part of their IT disaggregation initiative, managed under the Strategic Program of Work (SPoW).

In her role as Delivery Manager WA, Sigrid oversaw the delivery of Logica’s Western Australia based projects including the Woodside services account and the Western Power delivery projects. She was responsible for the utilisation forecasting of over 50 staff and the Resourcing of all WA-based projects. Sigrid was accountable for the quality of delivery of Logica’s projects in line with the financial expectations and functions as the local escalation point for the Perth office. Prior to this, Sigrid held the role of Senior Service Manager NSW, being responsible for the facilitation of knowledge sharing and supporting the development of the service managers within the region. Sigrid was appointed Service Manager for Eraring Energy, one of Logica's largest outsourcing accounts at the time. Sigrid was responsible for the delivery of the overall Outsourcing Agreement, which covered Eraring Energy’s infrastructure & application support, disaster recovery and Capacity Planning. Sigrid was accountable for meeting the agreed KPIs and ensuring the Services were delivered in accordance with Logica standards and methodology. In this role, Sigrid was responsible for the financial, personnel and operational aspects of the contract.

As manager of the IT-department Database Marketing within Retail and Private Banking Systems, Sigrid had line responsibility for a developer-team comprising 15 staff, ranging from programmers to project managers, with a budget of 2.5M Euro pa. In this role, Sigrid was in charge of setting up an integrated channel management system for the retail bank.

Sigrid was a member of the IT practice within Booz Allen & Hamilton. She started as a Management Consultant, to be appointed Lead Consultant, and Associate shortly after. In these roles, Sigrid was responsible for the design and implementation of controlling and management information systems and conducted a number of process re-engineering projects.
