I maintained strong external client relations with partners and sponsors such as Fonterra, SKY TV, Equestrian Sports NZ, Alltech and Bauer Media.I improved Country TV’s visual brand on its e-newsletter, digital channels, email signatures, business cards and advertisements and optimised communications and promotions by creating a target-oriented marketing schedule. I executed thorough market research to define Doc Edge’s audiences and developed an effective marketing schedule covering all promotional activities for upcoming events and workshops. This approach allowed targeting all relevant audience groups such as festival visitors, sponsors and advertisers, film industry members and educational institutions.I was responsible for implementing and coordinating communications, promotional activities and outreach campaigns and worked collaboratively with internal event teams and external sponsors and supporters as well as Doc Edge’s Festival venues, Q Theatre, The Roxy Cinema and AUT University to deliver effective communications and cross promotions. Post-event I evaluated, analysed and reported the success of the marketing campaigns using Social Media, Mailchimp and Google Analytics and evaluated the findings of the 2016 audience survey. Over the Festival period the number of followers on social media increased by 8%, while the subscriber’s database grew by 26%. After re-designing the e-newsletter and creating a user friendly content and layout, the open and click rate increased significantly, as did the overall audience reach through Doc Edge’s digital channels. Overall the Festival attendance in 2016 increased by 20% and Doc Edge’s Festival venues registered a significant increase in early ticket sales for this year’s event. Show less
