As Chief People Officer, I led the integration of five acquired and newly established plant-based food companies across the USA, Europe, South Africa, and China. By identifying synergies, I optimized the workforce and supported rapid growth. I aligned the talent agenda with strategic priorities and prepared the company’s HR practices for its planned IPO, developing executive compensation and total rewards frameworks.I partnered closely with leadership, the Board, and Nomination & Remuneration Committees, shaping organizational growth. I also oversaw a global restructuring, realigning the Executive team and people structure while preserving our unique culture focused on kindness, performance, and sustainability.

Built the People function from the ground up, assembling a team of HR business partners and introducing robust HR capabilities and technology. Focused on establishing a strong, cohesive culture across regions while acting as a strategic HR business partner to senior leadership. Supported rapid scaling efforts, ensuring that HR processes and systems were aligned with business goals in diverse markets.

Developed and executed a new global Talent Management strategy. Drove all global talent initiatives with my team, from talent planning to succession, executive & leadership development, performance management, diversity & inclusion and engagement to talent technology, focusing on growing and engaging people at Gartner and on building capabilities to support the rapid growth of the organisation. As a member of the Integration Management Office (IMO), I oversaw 'People & Culture' for CEB's integration in Gartner. This included work on culture & values, the role of leadership, change & transformation, talent retention, and the interim and long-term operating model and organization design.

As Managing Vice President, Talent Management at Gartner, I led the global talent team, infrastructure and programs to engage and accelerate growth of Gartner's talent globally.

As member of the leadership team, I built and led the Talent function across a variety of domains including value-added strategic HR and talent management, organizational design and effectiveness, leadership development and transforming teams.

Directed Organizational Effectiveness and HR across Europe, managing talent management, leadership development, and succession planning. Defined the regional HR strategy and led country HR teams and core HR processes, aligning them with business needs. Member of Management Committee and Works Council in Belgium and France.

Led HR for the International and European HQ and the Belgian sales affiliate, translating business plans into actionable HR strategies. Managed staffing, talent management, and cross-border employment while overseeing HR operations across all functions. Member of the Management and Compliance Committees.

Led Talent Management and HR for the international region (outside the USA) and Belgium, covering talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and performance management. Managed pre- and post-acquisition HR integration following the acquisition of Guidant by Abbott Vascular and Boston Scientific. Supported OD, change, and (cultural) integration, while overseeing L&D and sales force effectiveness initiatives across the region.

Provided strategic consultancy in HR, competency management, performance, career and reward strategies for private and public sectors. Coached consultants and managed client relationships.

Conducted HR research and contributed to several projects across public and private organizations. Developed HR-related programs, incl. the Masterclass in HR and Leadership Programs, and led its commercial implementation. Taught in postgraduate and executive programs.
