Actively looking for assignments: I'm a journalist with an extensive experience of various media, i.e. written+radio+TV. I report on economics, finance, business and politics (earlier on culture) and very interested in fraud and corruption. My strength is an analytic view, also across countries, made easier by the fact that I speak several languages and have followed especially European affairs closely since the early 1990s. Op Eds on the above issues, with a UK and/or European angle, is another strength of mine.Expertise: Writing (creative+journalism), research and investigations, food and cooking (Italian, French, English, Scandinavian in particular). All things Icelandic. Fluent in Icelandic, English, Italian, Danish, Swedish, German and get by in Norwegian and French.Experience of lecturing (University of Iceland, University of Lund, Sweden), i.a. re Iceland both past and present; written reports and case studies, i.a. for the World Health Organization and Scandinavian organisations.Apart from journalism, I've published two novels in Iceland and written on food (weekly columns, 3 cookbooks).
