- Tech lead in a team that developed a new product and pricing module to be used by all public transport in Norway (bus, ferries, trams, train, metro). This makes it possible for various public transport companies to export their product and price data to be sold in one place. This includes designing and implementing API’s for calculating price on bus and train trips, API’s for managing (inserting-updating- CRUD) the fare data. Standardized/optimized data model to accept inputs from different companies. APIs used by multiple mobile apps and websites. Data model built on NeTEx-- a CEN Technical Standard for exchanging Public Transport schedules and related data. Built with Scala, Postgresql, Scalikejdbc, Swagger, Scalatra, Kubernetes, Akka, Redis, Mongodb, Gradle, Kong, Docker- Developed a prototype to maximize yield (earnings per kilometer), to help a transport operator adjust prices for higher income. Technologies: Scala, Oracle, Scalatra, Java- Developer on a project where the sales and ticket backend software for the biggest train company in Norway was maintained and renewed. Worked especially on a system for travel agencies (Open Travel Alliance Standard). Booking tool for travel agencies which does everything from searching a train journey, booking, cancellation. Technologies: Java, Spring, Jboss, Oracle, Mesos, Soap, Maven, Docker- The Blockchain Guild: Blockchain enthusiast and head of the internal research group. Spent 8hr per month learning latest in blockchain; hackathon once a month. Held 4 hr hands-on workshops both internally (20-60) and externally (Java Zone, Norwegian biggest developer conference, and Booster, a developer conference in Bergen) as an intro to Solidity programming on Ethereum. Improved content management for a customer mobile knitting application (native for iOS and Android) by developing a server on Google App Engine featuring content retrieval from the cloud. Developed a RESTful service and an admin interface using Java and Spring. Used Spring MVC for the web framework, and Spring Core for dependency injection

Developed various monitoring, supervision and utility programs in Java with the backend and optimization team, requiring interaction with numerous MySQL and MongoDB databases; also rewrote scheduled tasks on a redesigned server center. Did some research on Liquibase and investigated its potential for better control at database schema changes for Sportradar. Also established a whitelist of IP addresses based on existing logs to help prevent DDOS attacks, and several smaller tasks.

An entrepreneurship event with focus on IT, with the goal to get people with ideas together with the people needed for the execution of it. Local startups came and held pitches, and some longer talks for inspiring the students. Over 150 people attended.
