With over nine years of work experience in geology, I am passionate about exploring and understanding the Earth's history, processes, and resources. My core competencies include various field work techniques, geochemistry and downhole geophysics. As a geologist at the Geological Survey of Estonia, I contribute to the mapping and assessment of the country's mineral potential. I value the opportunity to work with a diverse and collaborative team of experts, and to apply my skills and knowledge to support the sustainable development, exploration and management of Estonia's natural resources.In my current role, I focus on the crystalline rock complexes in Estonia, conducting drill core scanning, drilling programs, logging and assay, and carrying out down-hole geophysical surveys for measuring physical properties of rocks in situ. Previously, I have worked on sub-bottom profiling and bottom sediment sampling for marine geology projects, and on soil sampling and data analysis for developing the Geochemical atlas of Estonian agricultural soil and the radon potential mapping. In addition, I am a member of the Estonian Commission on Stratigraphy. I am also pursuing my PhD degree in Geology at the University of Tartu.
