In this company I am performing functions as NACE 3 Coating Inspector. I am responsible of review, evaluate and approve procedures, forms and inspection plans of blasting and coating activities related with projects assigned to me. Currently working in a project related with equipment that will support PEMEX operations in Dos Bocas, Campeche, MEX.Also, I train to blasting and painting operators as required, mentoring NACE 2 inspector working with me, evaluate contractors’ readiness to meet specification and executing adherence and holiday testing for some equipment in the projects assigned.

Own and run a company dedicated to providing coating inspections and consultancy related with coatings. I worked in multiple projects with three different local companies and other one in Houston, TX, (TIMSA GD NASSCO, TDA, Persal and Fabcon consultants).The following is a list sample of services being provided:- Evaluation of contractors 'capacity to perform coating projects.- Training to painters on procedures and inspection plans to meet specifications.- Develop and document coating application procedure and inspection plan.- Perform and document assembly inspection.- Coating inspection activities- Customer service related to documentation regarding assembly and coating inspection.- Provide weekly status of project´s progress to direct customer.- Generate coating maintenance programs and tracking system for equipment and floors.- Develop improvement projects for curing and adherence including design of experiments.

• Inspection of fabrication, welding and coating on waste water treatment equipment (clarifiers) to be installed on US's western states as California, Oregon, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. Manufacturing and coating application is done at Mexicali, Mexico. I report to Fabcon, an american company, who is subcontracting fabrication of this type of equipment in Mexico for several lead firms on this business, being Walker Process Equipment the main customer. Epoxies, urethanes and inorganic zinc coatings are mostly applied. • Coating inspection on different projects of steel potable water pipelines. The application of the coatings have been performed in Mexicali, at the facilities of Tubos y Activos belonging to National Oilwell Varco group (formerly Ameron International). The pipelines are part of potable water systems being installed in different counties from US western including California and Arizona states. Epoxies and urethanes (Protec II) are the main coatings applied. • External advisor on performance and process control of surface preparation and coating application for local companies.

Responsible to lead a team dedicated to implement new manufacturing processes, define, and execute operation excellence strategies, develop continuous improvement initiatives, design and fabricate tooling and upgrade manufacturing technologies at three corporate business units.Also I was responsible for maintenance and setting up of TIMSA´s facilities in Mexicali. Main accountability included definition and execution of projects to improve facilities besides capital and expense resources optimization for an asset package of three buildings and two warehouses. Accountable of Capex process, planning and execution of preventive maintenance plan and development of 2025 facilities vision.Activities related with coating inspection:- Create documentation (manuals, instructions, and procedures) and provide training related to process control of surface preparation and coatings for marine vessel industry equipment including projects for U.S. Navy, BP (British Petroleum) and Totem Ocean Trailer Express (TOTE). • Coating inspection on metal outfitting parts for shipbuilding industry. • Audit and certification of coating application suppliers for local companies. • Set up of TIMSA´s business units for the manufacturing of ductwork and piping including finish processes as chemical dip cleaning, sandblasting, and painting. Participation in the selection and installation of the equipment including paint booths with forced curing capability. • Follow-up complaints regarding coatings quality from customer. • Set up of CARC coating process on carbon steel substrates and aluminum (military specification).
