Canopy Institute of Design (hereinafter referred to as Canopy), founded in July 2013, focuses on online design education. As a part-time instructor, like many other designers who bring their first-hand experience to the online courses, I help students learn knowledge about human-computer interaction, understand user experience, and acquire skills of UI design and interaction design.Here are the online courses I hosted so far:- Live streaming session. It introduced different career paths of growing as UX design professionals.- Two-month online studio. With nine students, we covered the fundamentals of interaction design, and accomplished an entire app product design challenge from end to end.- Two-month one on one coaching session. Paired with one student who was preparing for job hunting, we went through each step of crafting design portfolio from scratch, and relearned the design process by solving actual design problems the student was dealing with.

Creating experiences that better support the economic activities between people and businesses.

- Led the app redesign and optimization for US market. (App Store: 4.8 | Google Play: 4.5)- Defined the omni-channel money transfer experience via smart phone (online to offline).- Explored and tested multiple future concepts for send money interaction in mobile app.- Initiated the UX alignment of company’s digital products across web and mobile platforms.- Collaborated on UX design decision-making, from visual paradigms to strategic roadmap.

Responsible for the conception, design, and execution of innovative interaction design for both web and mobile initiatives in a production environment.- Delivered user flows, hi-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for international products.- Organized online and in-person user testing sessions to improve app design iteratively.- Established and maintained style guide and produced UI specifications for development.- Supported the localization and customization of app releases in 64 countries with 5 languages through agile process.

- Surveyed employee representatives from Handan Iron and Steel Group Inc. and desi-gned the homepage and ranking page for its employee online self-learning system.- Developed the homepage of a student curriculum management website for BeijingInformation and Technology University and improved the layout of the website basedon the results of usability test.- Analyzed the usage inconvenience of the previous data management system forChina National Coal Group Corp. and redesigned the login page and reorganizedthe primary user interfaces.- Designed the homepage for Octopus Link, Inc. Beijing. The design proposal was adopt-ed by the client at once due to it reflects the spirit of the company.

- Generated interaction workflows for a Conceptual Vehicle Navigation System anddesigned the its home, navigation and multimedia user interfaces.- Assessed the usability of the graphic user interface of an iOS app and redesignedmenus and 16 customized icons.- Used Photoshop to design a set of icons and user interfaces for Android smartphones.
