I have more than 20 years experience as a Bus Driver , working with the public providing customer care, safety and comfort for passengers.In my pastoral role my duties included facilitating networking within church branches, organising church events, workshops, conference, and training. I am a caring person with experience of working with people from diverse backgrounds, providing spiritual and emotional support to the bereaved and those facing hardships. My role as Bereavement Counsellor includes counselling clients with terminal illness and bereaved family members,working within the guidelines of BACP code of ethics.My responsibilities in Drug and Alcohol setting included working with clients facing substance misuse problems, mental health illnesses such as depression, anxiety, being suicidal.I have got experience of working in collaboration with other professionals, mental health nurses, Consultant Psychiatrists, Keyworkers and GPs . I have gained experience, confidence and interpersonal skills through working with different people from diverse cultural backgrounds.My role as a Trainer is to refresh knowledge of workers, helping them to keep up-to-date with their training and CPD as required by the regulators. The range of courses which I train include mandatory training care certificates, Leadership and Management, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Safeguarding and many more.
