Mechanical Estimation Engineer
Current• Preparing of accurate calculation, the total cost associated in the organization products.• Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.• Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labuor, equipment, and other resources required for the project. This includes estimating the cost of stainless steel materials, as well as other components and subcontracted services.• Work with Purchasing Department to solicit and collect material costs. • Work with Engineering Department to identify optimal material utilization and fabrication methods. • Work with Production Department to establish fabrication rates and options for fabrication methods. • Maintain metrics related to quality and timeliness of estimates supplied to customers and win / loss ratio of estimates submitted.• Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Analyze project requirements, specifications, and designs to understand the scope of work and determine the necessary resources.• Prepare bids and proposals for clients, outlining the project scope, cost estimates, and timelines.• Allocate resources efficiently to optimize project outcomes and minimize costs.• Develop and maintain project schedules, considering timelines for material acquisition, resource allocation, and completion of various project phases.• Identify and maintain relationships with reliable vendors for stainless steel materials and other project requirements.• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, timelines, and costs.• Prepare regular progress reports for clients and internal teams, updating them on project status, costs, and any changes in scope or timelines.• Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and best practices to improve estimation processes and project outcomes
