Project Title: "Biological/Chemical Wastewater Treatment in the Nitrocellulose Industry"- Funded by The Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation of Turkey (MKEK)- Treatment of nitrocellulose industry wastewaters, characterized by high nitrate concentrations and low pH was investigated. The studies were conducted in lab scale up-flow denitrification filters to identify optimum conditions that promote high rates of denitrification.
