Previously I've been in the Royal Danish Airforce as a cadet in the technical officer programme, which sparked my interest in fluid mechanics, which ultimately led me onto the path of my engineering degree and subsequent PhD. In January 2016 I finished my Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. In direct continuation of this education, I started on the Masters Programme within Wind Energy Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. Following this, I was employed in a PhD-project in which I have designed, planned and conducted experiments in experimental turbulence research, developed theory to accompany the research and designed, planned and overseen the establishment of the world-leading turbulence research laboratory at DTU Construct (former DTU Mechanical Engineering). In the fall of 2014 I have spent a semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an exchange student where I followed courses in aerodynamics and propulsion systems which will form the core of my specialization. In the spring of 2015 I worked as an engineering intern at the Danish engineering consultancy company Svend Ole Hansen ApS, which focuses on wind loads and vibrations in constructions. Here I've gained an in-depth understanding of wind tunnels, both function and theory. After finishing my internship at Svend Ole Hansen ApS, I was offered to continue working at the company as a student assistant while I finish my education. In January 2018 my time at Svend Ole Hansen ApS came to an end to allow me to focus on finishing my Master's Thesis.On September 3rd 2018 I finished my time at DTU by defending my thesis getting the top grade.In the period 1st of May 2019 to 31st of December 2023, I completed my PhD-project, concerning dissipation measurements in highly turbulent flows.
