Review all details of every order shipping out (for server racks, table build servers, and unintegrated parts), including, but not limited to:Sales order -- verify all items on order are correct and accounted for per what the customer requires for the build and/or sale.Device settings -- ensure that specs/firmware/captures on servers, switches, and PDUs are configured correctly according to customer requirements.Physical inspections -- thoroughly check all aspects of rack builds; ensure devices are properly secured for shipping, cabling is neat and tidy, and no damage is present. Also clean racks in preparation for Shipping team, and secure any loose items.Photos -- take photos to document all devices of order.Invoicing -- navigate through GP (Great Plains) to allocate items and invoice orders.Print labels using Excel and Zebra printer.Send emails through Outlook of order completion, attaching any necessary files that need to be forwarded to the customer.Train other team members on above skills. ---Test department---Frequent training in Test department, and knowledgeable of the following skills:CLI commands for Dell, Juniper, Cisco, Avocent, Raritan, Gelu, ServerTech switches and PDUs via Tera Term. Firmware upgrades for switches and PDUs.License installation for Juniper switches (activate license through Juniper portal).Basic troubleshooting knowledge for Dell servers, via BIOS settings.Access to Forge and ability to upload racks or table builds.Export ASNs (advanced shipping notice) into Excel file with all details of order.Export burn report files for servers, with record of customer-required settings and stress tests.Understanding of server configurations and hardware/software components.Installation of drives, memory, CPUs, and various other components.
