Provide O&M support for mobile gas turbine generator sets at fraccing sites and other applications throughout the US and internationally. Generator sets such as Dynamis DT35, JEREH, Solar SMT-60, SMT-130, etc. Support OEM companies retrofitting control systems and preventative maintenance activities.

Operate the CHP plant while providing electrical and instrumentation support for the entire utilities area. Worked with project engineering to identify and develop a plan for critical instrumentation and electrical equipment to insure process reliability. Responsible for writing calibration, SIS and interlock procedures for the Solar turbines and boiler instrumentation. Input data into CMMS (SAP) for equipment maintenance and history tracking. Participated in the installation, QA/QC, and commissioning of two Solar Titan 250 gas turbines that produce 45 megawatts of power and use the waste exhaust heat generated by the turbines to produce mill wide steam. Implement continuous improvement projects for the utilities area and oversee the projects until completed and commissioned. Update older DC drive motors to AC (Allen Bradley 700 series), pneumatic instrumentation to Electronic (E&H, Rosemount, Honeywell), and DCS systems (Allen Bradley).

Install, repair, and maintain various instruments and electrical equipment throughout the plant, including motors, starters, control loops, pneumatics, and automation end devices. Calibrate instruments and maintain records for ISO certification. Perform the necessary changes to instruments and electrical equipment in the field and on the Honeywell Experion DCS system when changing production to a different process. Instrumental with helping our department acquire the tools and knowledge in order to keep up with technology and increase our efficiency. Order parts, enter time, and update equipment history in SAP computerized maintenance management system. Volunteered to get certified to service Fike explosion protection systems, as well as Allen Bradley 700 series drives. Recently completed checkout and commissioning of a major project with over 30 motors and 400 instruments.

Maintain and repair instrumentation, electrical and mechanical equipment throughout natural gas pipeline. Calibrate, repair and install pneumatic and electronic controls on valves and actuators. Carried out routine maintenance tasks involving calibration checks on transmitters measuring temperature, pressure, flow, and various analyzers for DOT compliance. Initiated and performed work associated with fuel gas skid overhaul, Waukesha generator rebuilds, air drier replacement, and several large actuator rebuilds. Perform duties necessary for 24-hour platform and pipeline operation. Troubleshoot and repair problems associated with communication equipment, RTU, SCADA, gas and fire detection systems, corrosion protection, and DCS Systems. Work with various computer programs, including Maximo, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Obtained certifications necessary for operator qualifications and DOT compliance. Oversee construction work performed on platform. I was periodically the person in charge of the platform making sure everything continued running in a safe manner.
