Silas Leslie (they/them) serves as Advocacy & Community Engagement Manager, Trainer, and Data Analyst at Chicago Therapy Collective. Through their work, they provide free training & education built around actionable & accessible best practices to small businesses. Prior to their work in the non-profit field, Silas spent almost a decade in restaurant management. Outside of work, Silas serves as the Vice President of the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors and volunteer at Gerber/Hart Library and Archive. As a biracial, queer, trans, and neurodivergent individual, Silas is deeply committed to an intersectional approach to education & training that addresses the systematic barriers that stand in the way of equity for LGBTQIA2S individuals.
