As a History major with a passion for storytelling, I have explored a variety of avenues to express my creativity and make a positive impact in my community. With 4 years of experience in editing and promoting a novel and several smaller publications, I have honed my skills in writing, research, and communication. I have also had the privilege of working as an archivist with a personal collection for award winning advertiser, Ronald O. Kaiser. During this onging project I have gained a deep appreciation for the importance of preserving historical records and conducting thorough research. In addition to my professional work, I am also a published writer and poet. My chapbook "Nine Parts Water, One Part Bleach" was published by Main Street Rag and explores the history of the AIDS crisis and the queer commuinity in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Through my writing, I strive to create empathy and understanding, and to promote social justice.Beyond writing and research, I am deeply committed to making a difference in my community. That's why I founded the Queer Platform for Social Justice (QPSJ), a nonprofit organization that provides a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ individuals to engage in the arts. I started this organization when I was just 16 years old, and since then, we have helped countless individuals express themselves through music, art, and other forms of creative expression. I believe that the arts can be a powerful tool for social change, and I am dedicated to using my skills and experience to create a more inclusive and equitable world.I am always looking for new opportunities to learn, grow, and collaborate with others who share my values. Whether you're interested in history, writing, nonprofit work, or simply want to connect with like-minded professionals, I would love to hear from you.
