As the owner of Drink:Eat:Play, Dan Silberstein oversees the California-based event-planning organization. Starting with its first location in Los Angeles, he expanded it throughout the rest of the state and to seven other cities across the U.S. Dan Silberstein's responsibilities range from promoting its events and finding new locations to hiring a staff and coordinating event logistics.Part of Silberstein's success comes from paying attention to every community's unique personality. Drink:Eat:Play hosts beer festivals in San Diego and Chicago, among other locations. These festivities allow guests to try numerous types of beers from domestic and international breweries. The Santa Monica Wine Festival takes place for four hours in the evening on the scenic Santa Monica Pier and features hundreds of wines. Silberstein donates a portion of the proceeds from certain events to nonprofit organizations, such as animal rescue groups.During his spare time, Dan Silberstein enjoys exploring Los Angeles. Particularly fond of unique foods, he likes trying new restaurants of all types, from high-end dining establishments to hole-in-the-wall places. Additionally, he supports local professional sports teams, including the Golden State Warriors, the San Francisco Giants, and the San Francisco 49ers.
