Amongst a career of highlights, here are two noteworthy examples:• Starting in ‘03, Jeff led marketing and business development at M5 including lead generation, branding, and partnerships. Jeff was instrumental in building M5’s national reputation as the market leader in providing Hosted Business Phone Systems with the company winning numerous awards including Deloitte New York Technology Fast 50 (#5 in 2006, #19 in 2007), VoIP Magazine Top 20 Companies to Watch (2006), and Frost & Sullivan Entrepreneurial Company Award (2004). Jeff also led M5 sales taking it over from the CEO (2004-2005). Later, as VP of Channel & Alliances, Jeff spearheaded the growth of M5’s partner program which grew over ten times representing 65% of new revenue. During Jeff’s tenure at M5, its recurring revenue increased eight times.• As VP of uReach (‘99-‘03), Jeff made significant contributions to the building of its consumer brand which led to over one million subscribers, the company’s first agreements with service providers, and defined a new product category and business model for the telecom industry - delivering communication software as a hosted service (Software as a Service).Earlier, Jeff led the development of the consumer software brand strategy for Discovery Channel. Jeff, who received his MBA from Duke University, and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, began his career at Accenture, as a management consultant. Jeff is an active writer on the subject of value creation via his own blog, Order of Magnitude CEOs, as well as a biweekly blog entitled The CEO’s Ear for The New York Enterprise Report. Jeff has been a member of Vistage since 2007.

M5 is the Market Leader in Providing Software as a Service for Business Phone Systems (Hosted VoIP Phone System Provider)Jeff's accomplishments in this role include:• M5’s Recurring Revenue increased over six times during my five and half years there (2003-2009).• Oversaw all partnerships for M5.• Spearheaded the growth of M5’s partner program which grew from less than 10 partners when I arrived at M5 in 2003 to more than 100 active partners representing 65% of new revenue. • Responsible for M5’s strategic relationships including Cisco Systems, SalesForce.com as well as other major Distribution and IT consulting partners.• Created and executed business plan for M5’s award winning M5Connect service which connects M5 with CRM web applications such as Salesforce.com.
