STEP inTO OxMed is an organisation which recognises the need to provide access and outreach support in order to ensure our medical school is more diverse and reflective of all members of society. In our pilot year 2020, we have reached 197 prospective medical students from disadvantaged backgrounds with 56 virtual tutoring programme sessions in 'How to Get in to (Oxford) Medical School', 14 work experience workshops, 122 mock interviews with STEP inTO OxMed mentees and 140 mock interview workshops with shortlisted candidates for the A100 course (Medicine) in Oxford University.

OPTIC is a research group interested in the adaptive immune responses to Covid infection. We have accrued 350 Covid19+ healthcare workers and inpatients as well as 160 healthy controls to investigate various factors associated with T cell and antibody responses. Beyond natural immunity, this research group is also investigating the immune responses post-vaccination in our various arms. My role was initially in helping wit phlebotomy clinics but has since developed in to co-ordinating clinics, managing staff and recruiting participants.

Primary interests in tutoring immunology and cell biology at MSc and BSc level and biology and medical school application for A level.

Primary role as Mother of Cats but also welfare and discipline for St Hugh's students.

Main role as mentor and tutor in medicine applications, but also A level and GCSE biology.

Main role was setting up and monitoring sleep study participants to investigate the efficacy of CBT on insomnia.

Research project investigating post-transcriptional modifications of AE1 protein in pseudo-hypo and -hyperkalemia using mass spectrometry. Skills: membrane protein purification, sample processing and utilisation of LC-MS/MS and analysis using PEAKS.

Primary goal was to carry out multiple in vivo infection and in vivo tumour model experiments to generate data for publications and reviewers' comments.
