KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMain responsibilities entails:1. REVENUE GROWTHa) Maintaining a list of policies due for renewal to monitoring status of each renewal andachieving renewal retention targets.b) Achieving new business targets from the allocated customer accounts through trackingunprocessed documents and following up on quotations.c) Tracking written or lost premium, competitor information and coverage concerns2. UNDERWRITING PROFITa) Underwriting standard multi – line risks to determine eligibility, terms and the properpremium within established underwriting guidelines for new and renewal submissionswith an emphasis on risk analysis, coverage and price.b) Indicating, quote request additional information or decline in accordance withestablished guidelines, authorities and procedures outlined by Mayfair Insurancec) Processing and issuing of policy documents (new, renewal, cover notes, endorsements)for all general classes of insuranced) Building a book of business with a strong profit orientation, while managing a criticalbalance with other business considerationse) Accountable for compliance with Mayfair underwriting standardsf) Acting within the roles’ scope of authority and be consistent with company and corporateobjectives, guidelines, policies and practicesg) Constantly monitoring account performance in terms of loss ratios and advising clients onbetter Risk Management activities in collaboration with the Senior Underwriter3. CREDIT CONTROLa) Maintaining Company credit control policy ensuring that 90% of gross written premium iscollected within 60 days4. SERVICE DELIVERY/CUSTOMER EXCELLENCEa) Clearly and effectively communicating procedures with brokers, agent and direct clientsand responding to any ensuing inquiries in a timely and effective mannerB) Ensuring that customer complaints regarding policy issues and other related matters areresponded to promptly5. CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENTa) Fostering producer relationships

o Represent the company at meetings with stakeholders such as Kenya AirportsAuthority, Kenya Ports Authority on pertinent issues that affect the company.o Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectiveso Review of Draft contracts before signingo Preparation of Quotations for the diverse clientele needso Develop marketing strategies aimed at promoting the services offered by the companyo Breed productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from varioussources by networking, cold calling, using referralso Manage, control and supervise the activities of the operations staffo Monitoring of payments for debit notes (shipping and terminal)
