I chose to major in mathematics, because of the exhilarating feeling one gets after solving a math problem. The more I deepen my knowledge, the more it is apparent to me that the process of analysing and solving the problem in itself is very rewarding. After taking my first programming course at my university I realised I felt the same way about computer science. I'm particularly interested in AI, algorithm design and data analysis, but I am open-minded to other opportunities.
