• Maintained market leadership in a difficult market, that saw the Australian Dollar reach and maintain parity with the US$ and the Euro dropping to sustained historical lows rendering local production uncompetitive
• Maintained contribution margin despite being at a premium compared to competitors through meticulous quality management and close customer relations along with emotionally marketing Australian grown
• Developed and launched a new product including McDonald’s one off Beetroot promotion resulting in 120 tonne of finished product being sold (5%) increase in volume
• Developed and launched targeted vegetable mixes to the aged and health care markets resulting in greater alignment with customers ensuring continued sales and refreshed portfolio
