He is a former Southern States Mr. Fitness champion, and co-host of Cory Everson’s "Gotta Sweat" TV series on ESPN2. He has been a featured dancer for Reebok, the Miami Heat Dancers, and Hooters Arena Football Dancers, Kat Pak, Body Squad and the Ms. Universe pageant. Silk has gained national exposure with feature articles in Muscle &Fitness, Muscle News, Florida Sports, as well as hosting his own fitness videos such as Khi-Bae and Aero Pump and kick and appearances on televisions shows such as Mortal Kombat and held a lead role in the independent film “sweat”.Silk has been an instructor in many different types of fitness and has taught them all over the country. He specializes In indoor cycling, super step, body pump, kick boxing, perfect form, interval training, boot camp and happy hour dance mix and even has run his own Kung Fu schools and taught Krav Maga: Israeli self defense Silk holds a degree in Community Health and Corporate Fitness from the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse where he played college football. He is an all natural for life athlete that hasbeen dedicated to the fitness industry for years. His dynamic personality, combined with his passion for instructing, inspires his peers as well as his students to dedicate themselves to a lifetime of fitness and continued education.Silk has most recently helped to build from the ground up Orange Theory Fitness, a group based personal training style workout that has already gone international. He is a part owner in the South Florida region and is constantly providing education and motivation to the area fitness coaches and to the students in his weekly classes.
