I managed the technical personell of the Modena site of VEM Sistemi, developing integrated network solutions for VEM customers, with special consideration for security, resiliency and manageability.I’ve also had the chance to familiarize myself with new technologies, like Cisco ISE(Identity Services Engine), Cisco Wireless Controllers, Checkpoint and.

I was in charge of coordinating the IT Operations department, which is responsible for the 24/7 availability and management of the IT infrastructure and applications that enable Communication Valley to provide managed security services to its customers.I responded to upper management for:-Incident and problem management.-Change and access.

I was in charge of administering the network equipment and the servers providing the essential internet services: that included dns, mail, web and proxy servers, all running on Microsoft operating systems. I was also responsible for the assistance of over one thousand dial-up customers, both via telephone and on-site. My other duties included internet.

Programming software for packaging robots, testing and installation. The machines were driven by industrial PCs (programmed in C, C++ and x86 assembly) or PLCs, mainly OMRON, Siemens and Allen Bradley. The customers were medium to large size enterprises mostly located in northern Europe.
