I'm Faculty member in The Regenerative Practitioner Series which is an intensive deep dive for practitioners who are feeling called to take their capability to practice regenerative work to the next level. We organize TRP cohorts geographically in partnership with local host teams in communities and regions around the world, to support the emergence of communities of regenerative practice that members both support and are supported by as they travel on their learning path.

As a co-founder, I share the responsibilities for strategic leadership, business development, client and partnership engagement, project design and management, and capacity-building.

Global

‘the emergence network’ is a growing alliance of activists, initiatives, communities, movements and people who recognize that today’s crises (climate change, poverty, economic inequality, etc) are not discrete problems with pre-existing features, and as such do not have ‘final’ resolutions. We recognize that the crises (ecological, financial, political and spiritual) we face today are intra-connected, that we cannot respond to one without drawing upon the others, and that the way we respond to these crises is part of the crisis. Our objective is to reimagine activism: dancing with confounding questions and experimenting with new practices that might entangle our work more deeply with one another and with the world.

Develop several trainings with fellow European trainers such as: the "Training Course for multipliers of the European Portfolio for Youth Workers"; the Council of Europe Field Activities Training for trainers in Moscow, Russia and the Long-term Training Course in Russia: "The role of young people and youth organisations in promoting youth participation in society", as well as the "Training for facilitators Involved in non-formal education with young people in the field of social inclusion" in the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg.

Portugal

One of the drivers at the source of it's creation, from first idea to the vision, mission and values that shape ECOS work today. Contributed to the whole process from transforming an idea into a vision to the registration and startup phase. Coordinated the development of the business model and economic viability study. Was the first elected President of Board in 2010.

I've been partly doing remote work facilitating teams and hosting online collaboration processes and learning experiences since the end of 2017. I hosted several national and international series of generative conversations exploring what it means to be human in a time of multiple crises and how to connect with our highest potential and bring to life the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. I'm a regular host of online communities of practices such as the Portuguese Art of Hosting community, the Reflective Social Practice global European and Global Communities. I've co-designed and hosted one of the first Portuguese Online Facilitation Courses in 2019, called FacilitArte. Also in 2019, I've co-curated and hosted the 3 months online course "VULTURE - Courting the Other/Wise in a Time of Breakdown". I've also designed and hosted the “Coming Down to Earth” Conflict Transformation Online Summit developed for the Transition Towns Hubs in partnership with other global networks.

"Ripples of the New Experiment" is a laboratory experience, of formative content, combining expository content, practices and group dynamics. Based on a reference program from MIT U.Lab.Through practical and actionable tools and methods, the following are explored: - Ways to take advantage of collective intelligence and create learning environments. - Embodied Learning using a tool developed by MIT and Presencing Institute - Social Presencing Theater. - Listening skills, peer coaching, and conversational skills that enable effectiveness and depth are trained. - The entrepreneurial capacity and the sense of responsibility used tools like the Designing Thinking and Effectuation Theory - The Power of Narratives and Storytelling

Algarve

Founder and coordinator of RECIFE, a regional network centered in multidimensional innovation (social, economic, cultural, educational, environmental and political) with a shared vision of an ecological eco-systemic future. RECIFE is composed of several initiatives clustered around the concept of network of people and communities of practices, working with the critical questions relevant to the future of our local communities in Algarve.

Europe

Member of the trainers team responsible for delivery of the European Citizenship Training Courses of the Partnership between Council of Europe and European Commission. These courses target youth workers with the aim to provide further insights into the current discourse and new trends about European Citizenship and how to work with the topic in youth projects.

Díli

Coordinated the implementation of the World Bank's Second Chance Education Program aiming to develop the TL National Equivalency Program to provide opportunities for those out of school age to continue their learning paths and achieve basic education. The Program also contributed to develop Community Learning Centers throughout remote regions of TL to ensure more learning opportunities to disadvantaged people. During the time of this consultancy i was responsible for planning and management capacity building in the National Directorate for Recurrent Education, contributing to the improvement of the financial management (budget planning and execution), administrative and personnel management (clarification of functions, procedures, organic structure, working conditions) and programs management (link between programs, link with formal education and vocational training, teaching staff training).

Development of the concept, goals and scope of work of the Pool. Creation of the call, selection process and contribution to final selection of suitable candidates. Coordination of the first Pool members meeting to share the scope of work and define the work plan for the first year.

Portugal And Africa

Developing and implementing the idea; coordinating the team of 20 trainers; developing non formal education strategies and policies; supporting the NYC board in NFE and training issues; organizing the training calendar and coordinating the staff responsible for NFE and training. During the 2 mandates, i coordinated the several Training for Trainers in Non Formal Education and Human Rights Education and developed the idea of the Youth Development School. I also supported the Board in developing the idea of the 1st Africa Europe National Youth Councils Development Cooperation Project, which i coordinated in 2009. This project won the 2010 WORLD AWARE EDUCATION AWARD of the North South Centre - European Centre for Global Interdependence and Solidarity.This Award seeks to recognise and encourage projects which promote the practice of global education in formal and non-formal educational settings, displaying excellence in networking, partnership and coordination for increased and improved global education; bringing together different actors and institutions.

This course took place in Mollina, Spain (October 2006) within the 7th University on Youth and Development;Workshop on Global Education within the 4th University of Citizenship and Participation held in Colonia, Uruguay (May 2007);Course Director of the Training for Trainers – “lets get Glocal – Bringing Global Education to our networks” held in Mollina, Spain (September 2007) within the 8th University on Youth and Development;Course Director of the Training for Trainers – “let’s get Glocal – Bringing Global Education to our networks” held in Mollina, Spain (September 2008) within the 9th University on Youth and Development;Coordinator of the Joint Program of the 10th University on Youth and Development held in Mollina, Spain(September 2009) with the responsibility to ensure a Global Education dimension;Mentor in the 1st Global Education online course as well as of the Publication "Global Education Guidelines" of the North South Centre.
