Provide assistance to Contracting Authorities throughout the public procurement cycle. This includes detailed vetting of tender documents for Supplies, Services or Works tenders the preparation of tender documents to ensure that all the stipulated regulations are adhered to for the publication of the calls for tenders; assist Contracting Authorities to answer any clarifications that may arise during the tendering period; and in the review of evaluation reports prepared by the Evaluation Committees; prepare monthly status reports to enable the monitoring and enforcement of public procurement procedures and reports concerning cases involving the Department of Contracts in front of Boards; operate IT Systems, including the e-procurement portal (ePPS), used for the management of calls for tenders and reporting of public procurement.

Under the direction of the Project Leader, develop work plans including setting tasks, deadlines, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project; preparing progress and any other project related reports as required; managing the effective implementation of the projects and tasks assigned; assigning responsibilities to clerical support staff and overseeing their training and work; coordinating the necessary administrative work in relation to the project; coordinating applicant and scholar interaction with the STEPS scheme and liaising between all the stakeholders; coordinating promotional activities and produce information materials; organizing meetings such as scheme status meetings, team meetings and STEPS board meetings; maintaining all the necessary documentation, including purchase documents and invoices; the inputting of these documents in the Structural Funds Database (SFD07), and the upkeep of the Project Files; monitoring the costs, time schedule and quality of the work being carried out; verifying work carried out against invoices submitted and authorize payments; managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the project as per manual of procedures issued by the Managing Authority within the Office of the Prime Minister.
