General commercial legal practitioner with extensive experience in mining, insurance, the negotiation of large scale commercial contracts, including international contracts, experience in marketing and shipping and some experience in financing structures. I have a strong background in the formation of joint ventures, alliance structures and more recently have developed my knowledge of native title law particularly in the State of South Australia.I am a dynamic and pragmatic person with a strong commercial bend who ensures that risks are appropriately measured and addressed. I take pride in my work and adopt a "big picture" approach in my practice. Given my excellent interpersonal skills I work well in a team environment and equally enjoy working independantly as required.I enjoy learning and teaching others and find giving seminars challenging and personally enjoyable.

Specifically I look after the legal and permitting requriements for the Carrapateena exploration project and am responsible for native title issues as they relate to that project. This is a large copper deposit in South Australia which has a Retention Lease granted by the State for the purposes of conducting advanced exploration activities. The area is the subject of a native title claim by the Kokatha Uwankara Native Title Group.I am also involved in the negotiation and completion of a number of commercial contracts the company enters into both at Carrapateena and its operating mine Prominent Hill.
