I have been a scientist all my life, being involved in virtually every aspect of scientific production and communication. My experience spans across all stages of a project, from proposal preparation to management and reporting, from outreach activities to events organization. I’m familiar with the working process of several European funding programs like Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, COST actions, Twinning, ERC, Erasmus programme and Synthesys.In addition, my involvement in several scientific societies, boards, committees, and working groups, along with my experience as a Marie Curie fellow, enhanced my proficiency in the administrative skills necessary for project management (budget management, event organization, reporting), communication management (website, social media), groups coordination, team working and leadership.While working as a project manager, I simultaneously continue my tasks as a lichenologist, supervisor of students and post-doc fellows, editor and reviewer for scientific journals, and collaborator in national and international projects. This not only reflects my passion for my field of work, but also highlights my dynamic energy, effectiveness in time management and tasks optimization, ability to perform under pressure and proficiency in multitasking.I excel in collaborative environments, demonstrating competency in both teamwork and coordination of collective efforts. I have innate management skills, I’m well-organized, on time, precise and accurate. My independent thinking and initiative allow me to quickly find solutions for emergent challenges.Since the beginning of my career, I have actively engaged in numerous initiatives aimed at disseminating the significance and implications of my research to colleagues and general public of any age. This includes talks and hands-on activities in schools and crafting dissemination articles and blog posts. Whenever possible I attend courses and workshops to increase my communication and management skills. I am critical, honest and a good observer that makes me a capable reviewer for many journals and Science Foundations. I have experience in writing technical reports and project status reports as it has been a constant task during my career.I am curious and a quick-learner, and I gain in no time familiarity with news topics and tasks. Additionally, my sociable nature has facilitated seamless integration into every team I've been a part of. I am available to travel, cooperate with international working groups and attend workshops or meetings.
